How to stop the spread of COVID-19
Read about the measurements the Drupaljam team has taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19
Moving Drupaljam from an on-site event to an online event is perhaps the biggest change we had to overcome last year. The volunteers that organise this event had to re-invent the entire concept of the event without turning it into a Netflix marathon.
This means there is no need to travel to a venue and close contact to other attendees can be prevented. With over 500 people attending the Drupaljam re:Boot edition we know we can do this and have fun too ;-).
This edition our speakers will be present on-site so we have a high level of interaction.
Hosted in Rotterdam
The Drupaljam will be hosting the event from a studio in Rotterdam. The studio is a large hall suitable the organising team and on-screen speakers will be present for a vibrant event. On-site the following regulations are in place:
- We are only on-site if we have no COVID-19 related symptoms
- We keep our distance (1,5 meters) to each other
- We do not shake hands
- We wear face masks when not in front of the camera
- We use hand sanitiser to disinfect our hands
- We bring our own lunch
- We use our own devices
What you can do
Attending Drupaljam from your home is probably the most comfortable and safe option. If you plan on attending Drupaljam together with friends or colleagues, please make sure you follow the rules and regulations of your local authority.
